Real ingredients are the foundation for everything we do at Celtrade

This core principle started with our founder, Ron McAvan, and his love for quality food. He was inspired by global flavours made with exotic ingredients to create the best tasting product for the customer.

In our inventory we have over 3,000 fresh ingredients from 50 countries worldwide ready to use for your application. Whether it be gourmet sauces, mayo spreads, flavoured oils, vinegars, or condiments – together let’s make a delicious creation for your brand.

We believe in the traditional process of cooking - not processed foods.

We start with premium ingredients and use each one in the best formula for your recipe. We sauté onions until they are sweet and savory and we slowly roast garlic until it is perfectly savoury and smoky. We hand-cut lemongrass and de-stem fresh chilies. We take special care of all of our raw materials so we can deliver the best tasting products on the market.

Our small-batch production is the key to creating quality foods that consumers love. Unlike most mass-producers that use powdered flavours and water for massive multi-day runs, we craft our products just like consumers would cook at home, simply on a larger scale. We know you will taste the difference our unique process makes.

Through good food and innovative approaches, we strive to not only be your supplier, but your partner in success.
Our customers’ vision on the food they want to create, is our starting point. We can customize one of our existing 2000 recipes on hand, or we can create something unique to your brand - completely from scratch. Ultimately we create a product that goes hand-in-hand with your brand and company-values.
We provide full product manufacturing expertise to our customers: from inception, creation, manufacturing, and packaging and we do this through constructive collaboration. Celtrade handles everything from innovation to full commercialization and supply chain solutions, while providing market insight on your next product. Our chefs & food scientists will conduct all the necessary tests to determine nutritional and regulatory information. We are your one stop shop for all your private label needs.
We involve our customers in all stages of product development to ensure expectations are met and surpassed.
Your innovation team

At Celtrade, every morning starts with a tasting session led by our head chef to refine the flavours and improve the recipes that are in development. The team is constantly on the lookout for ways of improving existing products, ensuring everything we make is the best possible product we can deliver. We invite customers to be a part of our tasting sessions as we create products for your label.

Market research

Market research
We perform a thorough analysis of the market to seek out gaps, opportunities, and upcoming trends in the food sector. We utilize data from 3rd party providers such as Mintel, Trend, and Nielsen combined with our own internal research to create products that are relative, have an economic value, and are aligned with the principles of today’s health-conscious consumer. Our food innovation is driven by 3 main pillars: market insight and research, trend tracking, and customer and consumer insight. We use this research to determine a range of economically relevant products that will suit your brand’s image and fit the needs of the market.
We scour markets and restaurants and are continually tasting, learning and experiencing food. We believe this is the best way to see trends in action and to inspire our chefs and developers to create new and delicious products.
After reviewing trend data, and extensive visits to restaurants and markets, our R&D team will read old and new cookbooks in order to understand how to replicate a flavour or deliver something brand new. All of this is combined to create a recipe benchmark, which will eventually become a product.
